Streetcars on Colfax? Come hear the discussion Tuesday Dec. 8th, 2009.
Tuesday, December 8th 2009, from 5:30-7:30 pm in National Jewish Hospital’s Heitler Hall there will be a public meeting to discuss implementing streetcars along the Colfax corridor.
The meeting is seeking public reaction to installing streetcars on the Colfax corridor. The area to be studied is located from 1-25 east to Syracuse and 12th avenue north to 19th avenue.
The study wants to get initial feedback/thoughts on how streetcar activity could impact a variety of topics including:
Adjacent property values, ridership, economic investment in Colfax, traffic operations, and overall change on private automobile trips.
