5 reasons you should have been at Mayfair’s wine tasting this past Tuesday night.
1. Proceeds support our local school, Palmer Elementary
2. Great wines to taste and nibbles from the kitchen at Solera.
3. Beautiful evening on the back patio celebrated one of the last late summer evenings outside.
4. Hearing about how Mayfair Neighbors, Inc. is now a registered non-profit.
5. Best reason of all to come to Mayfair Neighbor’s sponsored events – meet fantastic neighbors and make new friends.
Mayfair Neighbors, Inc. threw a fantastic fundraiser in support of Palmer Elementary school on Tuesday September 15, 2009. The event was held in beautiful courtyard of Solera Restaurant.
Most of the board of directors were seen in the crowd enjoying wine and engaging with the local residents.
Scott Babcock, the current Mayfair Neighbors president commented on the advantages of being a non-profit this year (all the wine was donated).
Local wine wholesale reps presented compelling stories that helped the wine flow and hopefully will spur future sales of their wines.
Mayfair Liquors would love to see you stop by and pick up one of the wines represented that evening as they were a big help to the event. If you missed out on this event we hope to see you next year.
